IT support that grew from helping people
Nerdster began with a simple idea: good IT support should fix the problem, explain the answer and leave people feeling more confident about their technology.
How Nerdster began
The story started in 2012, while our founder, Deepanshu Sahni, was at university. He realised that people did not only need someone who could repair a laptop. They needed patient, practical guidance from someone who could make technology feel less stressful.
It began with the essentials: fixing and optimising laptops, removing malware, installing antivirus software and setting up devices properly. Each job was an opportunity to solve the immediate problem, explain what had happened and help prevent it from happening again.
From individual help to business IT
That hands-on service grew into VIP IT support at Gatwick, where responsiveness, discretion and attention to detail mattered just as much as technical knowledge. From there, Deepanshu chose to focus Nerdster on London and build a business around the same principle: understand the person and the organisation first, then make the technology work for them.
Today Nerdster supports the day-to-day IT that keeps people productive, alongside cyber security, cloud services and longer-term technology planning. We also provide carefully tailored, white-glove support when privacy, complexity or personal service calls for it.
Built around how your business works
We have since worked across financial services, professional firms, healthcare, laboratories, growing companies and private households. That experience has taught us that every organisation has different pressures, but all of them value the same things: clear communication, dependable support, sensible security and advice they can understand.
In regulated sectors, we understand the importance of compliance, evidence and careful access control. Everywhere else, the principle is the same. We are transparent about what we recommend, what it costs and what happens next, and our team takes ownership until the work is complete.
Exactly what you are signing up for
Your proposal sets out the scope, monthly fee, service hours and anything charged separately. We agree the terms with you, plan the handover with your current provider and review the service as the business changes. You should know what is covered, who to contact and what happens next.
