Questions London businesses ask before they switch
Where in London are you based, and where do you go on site?
Our office is at 71-75 Shelton Street in Covent Garden. We go on site across central London, the City, north London and Docklands, and we support Windsor, Egham and the Thames Valley from the same team. Most day-to-day work is done remotely, so where you are matters less than you might expect.
How quickly can someone be in our office?
Most issues are fixed remotely within the same conversation. When a visit is needed, we agree the urgency and give you a realistic time rather than a promise that ignores London traffic. Same-day visits can usually be arranged for central London, and planned work such as moves and network changes is scheduled in advance.
What does managed IT support in London cost?
It depends on headcount, the systems in use and how much you want us to own. The proposal sets out scope, hours, responsibilities and a fixed monthly cost in writing before anything starts, and projects such as office moves are quoted separately.
Can you manage an office move in central London?
Yes. We plan connectivity, network, equipment, suppliers and building access, and we are there on the first morning. Internet circuits and managing-agent approvals often take longer than the fit-out, so the earlier we are involved the fewer surprises there are.
Can you work in older or listed London buildings?
Usually, yes. We check the building, the existing cabling and any restrictions first, then design around the routes that are available and prepare the technical information the managing agent will ask for.
Can you take over from our current London IT provider?
Yes. We plan the handover with you, collect the documentation and access we need, and introduce monitoring and security in stages so support continues throughout. Many of our London clients came to us this way.
Can you help with Cyber Essentials, FCA or MOD supplier requirements?
Yes. We are Cyber Essentials certified ourselves and take clients through Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. For regulated firms we document the systems, suppliers and controls behind FCA operational resilience and ISO 27001, and for MOD suppliers we prepare Defence Cyber Certification Level 0. Your compliance or legal adviser stays responsible for interpreting the rules.
